Description
The SAVAKNIFE “Santoku” is a universal Japanese-style kitchen knife that brings precision, comfort, and sharpness to every culinary task. Designed for both professionals and home chefs, it excels in cutting vegetables, fish, meat, and herbs with effortless control.
Now available in two steel variants, each tailored for performance:
- X12MF Tool Steel (60 HRC) — high-carbon steel offering exceptional hardness, aggressive sharpness, and long-term edge retention under heavy use. Each blade is hand-sharpened and ground to 0.2 mm behind the edge for a clean, powerful cut.
- EN 1.4116 Stainless Steel (58–59 HRC) — refined, corrosion-resistant, and easy to maintain, with the same precise edge geometry and hand-finished sharpness.
The Santoku’s balanced geometry and signature flat edge ensure smooth push-cutting without resistance — perfect for fine chopping, slicing, or detailed food prep.
Handle Options:
- Oak Wood Handle — octagonal profile for a confident, ergonomic grip, treated with Danish oil and polished with carnauba wax.
- ABS Handle — moisture- and wear-resistant, providing a secure, hygienic grip even when wet.
Ideal for:
- Chopping vegetables and herbs
- Preparing fish and meat
- All-purpose food preparation in professional or home kitchens
Elegant in form, aggressive in function, the SAVAKNIFE Santoku reflects the workshop’s core philosophy — craftsmanship that endures, precision that performs.
