Crafted from X12MF tool steel, hardened to 60 HRC, and treated with nitric acid etching, the Skinner #2 combines toughness, corrosion resistance, and a striking dark finish. The 0.3 mm edge geometry and hand-sharpened blade ensure smooth, aggressive cutting action, while the 4 mm spine adds durability for heavy outdoor use.
Handle options are designed for the realities of the hunt:
- Oak Wood Handle — oiled, waxed, and fitted with metal pins for a secure, natural grip even in wet conditions.
- ABS Handle — moisture- and impact-resistant, easy to clean, and stable in changing temperatures.
